Security Camp Spring 2010 at Boston College

Boston College will be hosting the SPRING SECURITY CAMP 2010
Anyone interested in speaking at Spring Security Camp should email
securitycamp@listserv.bc.edu
Any topic touching on computer and data security is welcome. Possible topic areas include, but are not limited to:
- Compliance with regulations
- Detecting malware
- Log analysis
- Forensics
- Firewalls, IDS, IPS, or other network devices
- Security "on the cheap", likely highlighting useful open source code you use
- Encryption (on disk, on the wire)
- Secure system configuration
- Vulnerability analysis programs
- Securing databases
- Securing email
- Network Admission Control
- Incident Response
- Security awareness programs/efforts
If you can talk about how your school is addressing any of these or some other topic for say 10 minutes, let us know the topic, and we will try to create panels where 3-4 schools give short presentations on different approaches to the same topic.
As always, there will be no registration fee to attend Security Camp. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
