Event Overview
What emerging technologies are likely to impact colleges, universities, libraries, and museums over the next five years? This symposium explores the 2017 Horizon Report in detail. Participants will leave with an awareness of emerging technologies and their challenges for teaching, learning, and institutional support. We discuss educational examples of new practices and seek to understand their campus implications.

Session Outcomes:
- The Horizon project's estimate of leading technologies over the next five years.
- Which challenges are likely to impede technology adoption.
- Which drivers are propelling technology use.
- The Delphi Method by which the report was created.
