Event Overview
The rapid acceleration of using 360-VR continues to permeate into the higher education teaching and learning environments. Currently, significant consumer market breakthroughs are offering lower 360-VR equipment costs, and more dedicated online 360-VR hosting platforms are available for exploration. Because of these recent developments, dynamic opportunities are emerging in education for creating immersive experiences. Educational opportunities today, are more accessible, and scalable for designing experiences including small scale projects, which are relevant, meaningful and achievable in all educational disciplines. As educators, we are now capable of creating, facilitating and distributing transformational learning experiences.

This full day session welcomes you to participate in multi-disciplinary, participatory experiences, focusing on immersive empathy experiences. Unique guided-experiential sessions will engage you, as an immersive experience participant, and as an immersive experience 360-VRs empathy experience designer.  Session presenters are subject matter experts, researching and driving compelling empathy endeavors in differentiated professional and business fields.

An exploration/viewing area will be setup with state of the art 360-VR resources and AI sound experiences.

Registration is limited to 25 people.

Session Outcomes:
 - 
Access, select and use appropriate empathy strategy /activity modules from Harvard University Graduate School of Education Making Caring Common initiative https://mcc.gse.harvard.edu/initiative
 - Critically describe and evaluate the empathy theme for potentially developing immersive empathy experiences by reflecting on the professional empathy Narrative4 experience and university experiential activities
 - Review and use the Uptale authoring and publishing platform, for creating 360/VR empathy experiences and reference the statistical data areas measuring the efficiency of attention, completion, and more for potential evaluation
 - Analyze, choose and list appropriate 360/VR technology resources for designing small immersive projects using360/VR technology
