Event Overview
Do you have trouble finding ways to generate excitement about accessibility at your school? You’re not alone! Join like-minds for a collaborative exploration of ideas, resources, and the tools that work to ease accessibility/UDL (Universal Design for Learning) adoption in higher ed. We know why accessibility is important, but now let’s talk about how to get everyone motivated to make it happen.

What You Can Expect:
The morning will include:
 - Trying out some different activities you can easily transfer to your school.
 - A panel who will discuss what’s worked, what didn’t work, and what interesting tools they’ve found to easily incorporate accessibility into every day.

In the afternoon, we’ll break into groups and take a deep dive into tools and techniques.
Through hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations, participants should leave with a toolkit that they can implement in their own schools.

Learning Objectives
 - Discover available technologies and tools to enable a new accessibility initiative at your institution
 - Learn from peer institutions’ successes and failures to generate engagement and adoption
 - Plan new ways to expand an existing accessibility program and make accessibility feel less intimidating
