Event Overview
D2L's Brightspace is a powerful LMS that is gaining significant market share in higher education. Many institutions have adopted this system or are exploring its possible deployment. This webinar will allow current and prospective Brightspace clients to enjoy many of the peer benefits found for other LMSs. The webinar will be used to discuss ways of connecting with others for the exchange of information, experiences, technical information, and best practices.
Topics will include: gathering for face-to-face workshops and peer user groups, reaching out to others interested in Brightspace, establishing a listserv and other communication streams, and working with D2L.

Session Outcomes:
- Who else is using (or considering using) the Brightspace LMS,
- What communication streams exist for Brightspace clients
- How Brightspace is being used by NERCOMP members.
