Event Overview
Do you struggle with the annual goal-setting process? Do your campus constituents all believe that their areas and projects are the highest priority?

Join us for an interactive workshop that will help you align campus leadership on mission-critical priorities, giving your people the mandate to focus more of their time and energy on fewer objectives. We'll look at this challenge from the cabinet-level as well as the IT department level and provide examples of transforming traditional SMART goals into objectives and key results (OKRs) that force alignment and improve performance.

Attendees should bring draft goals for the next academic year and we will transform them into Objectives and Key Results, as described in “Measure What Matters” by John Doerr.

Session Outcomes:
Transform planned goals into Objectives and Key Results that:
 - Optimize services offered today,
 - Retire outdated ways of working, and
 - Build capacity for future projects and services.
 - Develop the ability to align your IT and Institutional leaders on a limited number of mission-critical priorities.
 - Learn how to track OKRs regularly to monitor performance throughout the year and streamline the annual performance review process
