Event Overview
NERCOMP is partnering with Code42 for their first regional user group.  The day's events include case studies, roadmaps, and time to engage with Code42 technical staff.  

A digital transformation is happening now. Fueled by disruptive technology, it’s reshaping IT in higher education and creating a new set of needs. While disruptive, this shift feeds the speed, connectivity and collaboration colleges need to advance education and academic research. Yet, it creates new headaches – more compliance issues, data governance revisions and sometimes malicious behavior. 
This session shares how to enhance data-level visibility and secure all your information and research data.  

Session outcomes:
 -  Expediting forensic investigations. Learn how to find malicious files in seconds or minutes, not days or weeks.
 -  Simplifying your legal hold process. Learn from peers how to use Code42 to automatically lock data retention policies to support legal hold requests without impacting productivity.
 -  Data preservation and device migration. Learn how to preserve research data with integrity - and ways to service hardware upgrades 2x-9x faster than other data migration.
 -  Learn from peers who will share an example of how one school finally transitioned their sysadmin role from reactive to proactive planning and efficiency.
