Event Overview
Defending your Data will provide a mix of both practical application and hands-on work. We will start the day examining the current threat landscape, and the tools you can leverage on your network to help find and thwart attacks. In addition, we will cover the basics of forensics in the event that you have a breach. In the afternoon, there will be a hands-on session that will walk through a threat scenario from identification, to isolation, to the steps you should take in the event of a breach.
Session Outcomes:
- Understand the current threats affecting your network and the tools you can use to identify and thwart attacks
- Gain an understanding of the forensics process if you have a breach
- Gain troubleshooting experience in a table top scenario designed to find, remediate, and address a breach if one occurs
