Event Overview
How will digital developments change educational technology over the next five years? How can campuses support their mission as new hardware, software, and practices appear? This symposium explores the 2018 Horizon Report, produced by the New Media Consortium and EDUCAUSE ELI, in detail. Participants will leave with an awareness of emerging technological trends and their challenges for teaching, learning, and institutional support.

Session Outcomes:
The Horizon project's estimate of leading technologies over the next five years. 
- Which challenges are likely to impede technology adoption.
- Which drivers are propelling technology use.
- The Delphi Method by which the report was created
