Event Overview
Are you as kind to yourself as you are to others? Research studies support the benefits of knowing how to calm and befriend yourself, especially during challenging times. During this 6-week offering, we will explore ways to loosen the reins of self-judgments and impossible expectations in order to cultivate emotional well-being.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- Identify three major components of self-compassion
- Explain the relationship between mindfulness and self-compassion
- Relate an example of an Inner Critic's message
- Practice a Self-Compassion meditation
Note: These sessions will not be recorded. To be able to prioritize group connection and experience; participants will have the option to turn cameras and microphones on during the sessions.
