Event Overview
Higher Ed is constantly being asked to cut back, or work with a limited budget. How do you maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while keeping your expenses low? The answer is utilizing a student workforce. How do you maintain and administer such a workforce? Participants will hear from several universities that are currently utilizing student workers to help support their service desks and libraries, and how they handle the daily administration needs. Topics will include payroll, training, hiring, discipline, scheduling, and more.

Session Outcomes:
Participants will be able to assess their own need for a student workforce or the need to revamp their student workforce.
Leave with a better understanding of what a student workforce can do.
Ideas to take and implement for their own student workforces.
