Running a College Campus Trading Floor

OutlookOver the last several years Business Schools have been adding fully featured and on-line stock and commodities trading floors, complete with connections to Bloomberg and other financial data providers. These facilities not only provide students and faculty with the same tools and information used in the financial industry, but can also provide visibility for both student recruitment and fundraising opportunities. This SIG will explore what it takes to build, operate, and use one of these facilities. If you already have one, you will learn best practices and tips on keeping your installation up-to-date and running efficiently. The workshop will include a tour of Siena’s William R. Raub Market Trading Room.
