This workshop will start with understanding the mobile landscape, use statistics, and clear explanations of the alternatives (and the work involved) in different mobile strategies. The morning will be spent on clarifying and exploring the mobile spectrum, from simple mobile sites to robust native applications. In the afternoon, session content will include case studies of companies and higher education organizations who are doing mobile well, what QR codes are and how they interact with print and mobile technology, how to approach mobile from an strategic and analytical perspective, and how to determine the right solution for you and your organization.
- Participants will be able to understand how to approach the mobile landscape strategically, and how it can support marketing initiatives.
- Participants will have a strong grasp of the mobile spectrum, the alternatives available to them, what it takes to implement a mobile solution, and how to approach implementation strategically.
