Events bring together IT professionals and industry experts in forums that facilitate discussions on the use and management of computers, networks, telecommunications and information technology in education, including libraries, academic research and administration. These events also provide unique networking opportunities that foster dialogue and innovation.

NERCOMP hosts several workshops known as special interest groups (SIGs) that give IT professionals the opportunity to discuss ideas with colleagues in person and via listservs, message boards, wikis and blogs, to network, and to discover advances in their field.
