About the Award

The Distinguished Team Award honors outstanding collaboration among NERCOMP member institutions in advancing information and technology. The award recognizes teams that have made a measurable impact on a specific challenge or project through inclusive practices, innovative approaches, and forward-looking applications of learning. All teams connected to higher education IT or libraries are encouraged to apply—whether formally established or ad hoc. You may nominate your own team or one you collaborate with today!

The winning team will receive:

Lunch for the whole team on NERCOMP (to be arranged by the nominator, funded by NERCOMP)
Opportunity to share your team’s story at an upcoming NERCOMP webinar
Trophy or plaque
Announcement of your team’s recognition at the NERCOMP annual conference in March.Thank you for all your submissions, nominations closed Thursday, January 8, 2026, at noon.
