We’re hiring academic technology analysts who are great analytical problem-solvers, enjoy working on a collaborative team and are thinking about how technology can best support effective teaching and learning.
The Academic Technology Support Analyst will support current technology environments and technology transitions to new systems in support of a robust, consumer-grade technology experience. Assist with analysis of user requirements and conduct use-case testing. They will also assist with on-boarding and optimizing technologies to gain greater impact with student success and efficiency in online courses as well as in day-to-day operations. Conduct extensive functional testing on technology upgrades, as well as on learning tool integrations (based on the LTI standard). This position will work closely with staff in Information Technology Services, learning resources, instructional design, and other areas of the Global Campus team.
Bachelor’s degree in related field required
Minimum of three years of relevant technology experience
Experience with functional testing of technology systems
Knowledge of widely used and emerging technology applications, trends, software, and cloud services, especially within an academic environment
Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills
Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and communications
Proven ability to manage a complex workload in a changing environment
Master’s degree in related field
Experience with a wide range of technology to include learning management systems, multimedia tools, presentation software, survey software, and web-based collaboration tools
Experience justifying technology decisions to ‘non-technical’ audience
