 Prepares and implements capital, operating, and project budgets, manages procurement and spending activities, provides progress reports and analysis, accesses technology changes, and impact on budget, makes appropriate recommendations and adjustments to budget strategy.
 Implements an information security strategy and framework that safeguards information assets and mitigates risks. Develops and communicates IT policies and procedures for acceptable use and information security. Interprets and administers applicable policies in compliance with information security laws and regulations.
 Establishes an IT road map for major applications and infrastructure that considers integration and sourcing strategies, manages existing solutions and plans investments in emerging technologies, recommends the procurement of additional technology resources by determining appropriate cost effective solutions.
 Ensures the stability of core technology infrastructure and support model to improve the overall quality, reliability, performance and consistency of IT services and solutions.
 Manages and implements disaster recovery and business continuity plans, procedures, resourced and documentation. Analyzes risks, manages contingency planning and incident response to minimize disruption of business operations. Plans validation and testing of resources to ensure availability and integrity of information resources.
 Oversees the Information Security Program and policies, develops and implements technical policies, procedures and systems according to institutional objectives. Assesses risks, manages and implements remediation plan to safeguard recourses.
 Work in partnership with campus leadership and constituents to deliver IT services and solutions that align with the strategic goals of the institution. Consults with and assists faculty and division heads in planning for and applying technology initiatives for classroom-based, hybrid, and distance learning.
 Improves and recommends services to support teaching and learning and maintain effective and current technologies in classrooms and online learning spaces. Develops and implements training opportunities to support the use of educational technologies. Serves on various college committees and task force including the Faculty Technology and Building and Grounds Committees.
 Serves as college’s liaison to other higher education IT operations, committees, and consortiums.

 Ten (10) years of senior leadership experience within higher education institutions.
 Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and develop strategies to recruit and retain a high performing staff with appropriate technical and non-technical competencies in an academic setting.
 Experience with and knowledge of current and emerging technology used in an academic environment including voice and data communications, networks, serves/storage, software and database applications, information security, enterprise computing systems, academic and education technology, and online/hybrid course delivery.
 Significant understanding of technical systems and their applicability within a complex academic environment. Must have strong oral communications and interpersonal skills that involve collaboration among faculty, staff and senior administrators.
 Experience leading organizations to adopt continuous improvement of IT management processes, prioritizing, and mitigating information security risks and devising strategies to prevent and recover from disasters.
 Knowledge of and willing to stay current with information and educational technology practices and trends.
 Excellent project leadership, problem-solving, conceptualization and presentation skills.
 Ability to maintain high ethical standards; understand, implement and comply with relevant policies and laws (Confidentiality policy, FERPA, HIPPA, PCI-DSS, MA 201).

 Ability to evaluate, research and implement opportunities and propose changes leading to innovation and improvement of IT services.
 Ability to supervise the work of staff and recommend appropriate personnel actions; be able to apply strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills and train and evaluate performance, taking corrective action as needed; contribute to a collaborative environment utilizing exemplary communication and problem solving skills as necessary.
 Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the College, establish, and maintain productive and effective, inclusive working relationships with staff, faculty, administration, students, and other internal and external constituents.
 Must have strong written communication skills and demonstrated experience to work successfully in a culturally diverse environment.

 Master’s degree required.
