Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Client Services Technician is responsible for first-tier technology support, back office support for a mixed computing environment, and on-hands support in offices, classrooms, and public spaces throughout the College.
The Client Services Technician will promote the College’s commitment to collegiality by:
• Building effective partnerships with co-workers throughout the College by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistance when needed.
• Ensuring optimum service to all internal and external partners in response to all requests for service and information.
• Maintaining an environment that is welcoming and inclusive to persons of all backgrounds, nationalities, and roles.

Demonstrated experience supporting computing systems and devices in a professional setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Combination of academic and practical experience, and interpersonal skills, required to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position in a professional manner. Ability to multi-task and prioritize information effectively, work individually as well as a member of a team, adapt to a changing work environment, and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills. Ability to successfully complete assigned tasks without direct supervision. Sufficient mobility to perform duties in small spaces involving crouching, stooping, kneeling and physical ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength to lift 30-45 lbs.
Bachelor’s or associate degree related to information technology, and/or relevant professional certifications, preferably with a formalized framework like ITIL.
