The Director of Enterprise Systems is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Enterprise Systems team and is a member of the Information Technology leadership team. This position manages a portfolio of projects that provide innovative, cost effective and stable services in support of the University mission. Clear articulation of technical information and technical analysis with key stake holders across the campus is critical for success.
The Director supports and supervises the department’s enterprise systems team currently consisting of six full-time technical employees.
• Contribute to the overall Libraries & Information Technology team efforts; provide supportive interaction with faculty, staff and students; offer technical expertise, mentoring and training for student (HelpDesk) and administrative staff in accordance with University policies and procedures.
• The planning and completion of university projects
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor and consultant relationships including relevant contract administration, revisions, enhancements, and compliance monitoring.
• Participate in business process analysis in order to evaluate and recommend solutions.
• Actively participate in a number of key committees, advisory groups and related planning groups.
• Continually explore and evaluate new technologies and business practices to expand knowledge and skill to be successful.
• Assist in development of long-term strategies for growth and maintenance of departmental resources.
• Contribute to financial planning by making budgetary recommendations and monitor expenditures against approved budget.
• Occasional evening and weekend hours are required in support of regular off-hours maintenance or other business critical functions.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in management information systems, computer science, business administration, or a closely related field, with eight years of computing technology experience, or an equivalent combination of education and technology experience.
