Position Purpose
The educational technology analyst (Ed Technologist Level II) is a member of the team responsible for the support of educational technology across Dartmouth College. The team provides the College with sustainable and reliable infrastructure and services for online, blended, and on campus learning. As a member of this team, the technical program coordinator provides support, consulting, training and systems administration for Dartmouth’s portfolio of educational technologies.

This position offers a hybrid opportunity to work both remotely and onsite and therefore requires that the incumbent reside within a commutable distance to Hanover, NH.

Required Qualifications:
Training or coursework in instructional technology or related field.
Minimum 3 years in technical support, software development or similar role in an educational setting.
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage projects and events under tight deadlines and quality standards.
Familiarity with API, LTI and with at least one programming language, with a preference for Python or Ruby
Ability to work with flat files, csv or json
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
Commitment to constant evaluation, innovation, and improvement of methods, practices and processes.
Proven commitment to continued professional development.
Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.

Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent to superb problem solving abilities when dealing with troubleshooting a system or critically evaluating new software
Interest in application of ADA, 508 compliance to educational technology tools.
