This position manages and monitors active IT projects, communicates and documents system changes, and adds consistency to tools processes and methodologies. This position also partners with departments to provide consulting, training and introduces enterprise-wide perspectives into key decisions.
This is a temporary position that will span approximately six months. A typical work week will be 25-30 hours, scheduled Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm.
Required: a Bachelor’s degree or higher and two or more years of related experience in project management or combination of education and relevant experience. Highly effective written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences. Ability to productively assemble, engage, and lead cross-functional teams. Demonstrated influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations. Depth of knowledge in at least one technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects. Ability to align technical needs with business goals.
Preferred: proven experience with Agile and Waterfall project management. Knowledge of project management tools and software development. Proven experience in organizational change management, risk mitigation, and conflict management. Knowledge of quality assurance and testing. Knowledge of data integration across different technical platforms. Good understanding of technical architectures. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
