Designs, implements and supports effective operation of IT academic systems and responds to client requests and concerns as assigned

-Designs and implements system solutions based upon technological or client requirements
-Documents systems per department guidelines
-Manages and acts as a resource for system related projects
-Provides client assistance per assignments from the help desk system, tracking and closing requests per department guidelines
-Researches industry best practices to continue to deliver quality products and services to customers
Performs other duties as assigned

-Minimum of a bachelor’s degree -Moderate amount of experience working in IT systems administration or in other related work -Experience working with academic technology systems and applications, such as learning management systems, lecture capturing/streaming media solutions, outcomes assessment systems, course catalog systems -Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms -Ability to effectively communicate technical information to users with a variety of technical backgrounds
-Experience working with one or more of the following applications: Blackboard, Kaltura, Taskstream, -EvaluationKit, CourseLeaf -Experience with SQL and database queries -Experience with JavaScript and CSS -Experience working in higher education
