Job Description
The Learning Systems Specialist will provide comprehensive management of the University's learning tools. This role sits under the Organizational Development & Learning team (ODL). The ODL team's mission is to develop and nurture the talents, abilities, and strengths of staff and faculty by providing tools and creating a culture of learning to help them realize their full career potential while successfully forwarding the mission of the University. The incumbent will support this mission by helping to optimize the systems and tools that forward the learning programs and offerings. In this role, the they will provide system configuration, testing and deploying new functionality, maintaining learning curricula and learning objects, creating and implementing registration and assignments, and tier 1-2 support for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
This opportunity will also provide consultation and solutions for effective and optimal use of the learning systems. In addition, this role will create and deliver data analytics support for reports on the effectiveness of training and provide technological and logistical support for online, virtual, and in-person training programs.

Min. 3 years of experience in managing an LMS (Sum Total or other SaaS platforms preferred)
Experience with using MS Tools, Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, SharePoint)
Experience with working in a large complex organization with multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage projects for optimal efficiency
Ability to demonstrate initiative and anticipate needs.
Ability to make informed decisions and have a solutions approach.
Excellent customer experience and service
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to learn
