Job Description
The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) at Siena College is seeking applications for the full-time staff position of User Support Specialist. Reporting to the Assistant Director of User Services, the User Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical consulting, guidance and troubleshooting services to the College community on issues relating to computing and educational technologies. Additional areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to, development & management of Windows & macOS system images used for deployment, A/V support for events, asset management & inventory procedures. The position may require some non-standard hours (early evenings and/or weekends) at times.

Job Requirements
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field of study, and/or a combination of relevant
education, training, certifications, and/or work experience.
• Experience providing advanced technical support of various computing environments including Windows
and Macintosh operating systems.
• Knowledge of software in use on campus such as Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and Adobe products
• Experience with PC and/or Apple hardware internals
• Experience with imaging and operating system deployment technologies (e.g. SCCM/ECM, KACE, JAMF,
etc.) is beneficial
• Familiarity with networking
• Strong communication skills

A background screening will be required.
