Event Overview
If you have taken any of the InfoComm AV design classes, you are taught to design for the perfect room. However, does this room really exist? In most cases it does not, except for new construction. When it doesn’t what have we learned that we can sacrifice and how to work around these challenges? We will break this up into how to design around our challenges for each of the following design factors. Ergonomics, Audio and Visual. We will also look at different types of learning spaces that may exist on a campus such as traditional classrooms, meeting/seminar rooms, and what new designs and ideas are coming in the future.
Session Outcomes:
-To think about a learning space design as something more than just a traditional teaching space.
-How will future technologies help or hinder our design of the spaces
