I’d like to organize a workshop on this topic but I need assistance in how to do it.
Intended Audience:
IT leadership, systems administrators
Proposal:
The approaches that Broadcom is taking with VMware licensing are challenging. Costs are likely to increase for schools who use the virtualization solution. The idea is to get some schools with different perspectives together to share their strategies on either how to negotiate with Broadcom to keep using the tools or how to get off them completely.
Learning Objectives:
Approaches to reduce costs with VMware
Understand alternative tools that to exist and their pros and cons
Appreciate the timing and strategy needed to migrate off VMware
