What role would you like to play in organizing this workshop? I’m interested in organizing a workshop on this topic.

Intended Audience: Instructors, professional developers, instructional designers, academic administrators

Proposal:

I'd like to lead or co-lead a one hour discussion of how the advent of powerful computer aids changes our work as educators. Please feel free to suggest a collaboration if you have multiple proposals on this topic.

Learning Objectives:
* Speculate how computers will support our students in the future
* Reflect on the goals and learning outcomes of our institutions
* Identify redundancies between learning goals and computer supports
* Brainstorm key competencies for our students
* As time permits, brainstorm improvements to learning goals and instructional strategies

Name Title Summary
Heidi Burgiel Coordinator of Educational Technology A former professor of mathematics, Heidi now supports faculty and educational technology use at Lasell University.

Preferred Date and Location: October 2024, November 2024, December 2024, March 2024, April 2024, May 2024, June 2024

Dates Not Available: Did you mean to write 2025?

Additional Comments:
The webinar format doesn't suggest group discussion. What I really want is to lead a single, online thought partner group session. I led a series of three thought partner sessions on work-life balance, and I think a single session would have been a better fit for me.
