What role would you like to play in organizing this workshop? I’m interested in organizing a workshop on this topic.
Intended Audience: Faculty and administrators involved with teaching and learning and Instructional Designers
Proposal:
I presented on this topic at the 2022 Mass Colleges Online Conference and the 2022 Northeast OER Summit. Additionally, I was encouraged by Allison Bunnell to submit this as a possible NERCOMP workshop. This was originally done as an online presentation but could be adapted to a workshop format
Learning Objectives:
After this session, participants will
1. List the benefits of using choice boards to promote interactive integrative learning.
2. Explain how the choice board uses the Universal Design for Learning to support diverse learning styles and engage students.
3. Consider how to use choice boards for assessing learning.
4. Practice steps in creating a choice board.
Event Type: Online workshop - two 1.5 hour sessions (3 hours)
