What role would you like to play in organizing this workshop? I’d like to organize a workshop on this topic but I need assistance in how to do it.

Intended Audience: anyone in higher ed

Proposal:

In early 2021 Sharon Robsky implemented the Diversity in Technology article and slideshow series as one way the IT department could contribute to the university's diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. Sharon will present on how she started the project, her method for choosing people to highlight, and lessons learned so participants can start their own versions at their institutions.

Christelle Hayles, who was WPI's Associate Director of Diversity & Inclusive Excellence at the time of the implementation will be the co-host.
