Event Overview
Inclusive Design goes beyond the accessibility of a digital product or experience from a technical compliance perspective. Inclusive design takes that next step and considers "how" people with permanent, temporary, or situational disabilities navigate the digital world. The methodology of Inclusive Design highlights "why" accessibility is better for everyone. 

During this session, we will first review key areas to focus on when building inclusive design into your design framework. We’ll also share and describe in detail how you can use the Microsoft Inclusive Design Toolkit, which provides a persona spectrum enabling you to develop stories that resonate with your organization. Finally, we’ll share some examples of great design system structures for you to consider when standing up your inclusive design procedures.  Design systems allow you to define what developers and designs can use for button colors, focus indicators, hyperlinks, and more.   

Session Outcomes:
 - Learn key areas of focus for building Inclusive Design into your digital products and experiences.
 - Gain an understanding of how to use the Microsoft Inclusive Design toolkit.
 - View examples of great design system structures.
