Event Overview
Given the rapid shift to remote teaching/learning due to COVID-19, higher education institutions have purchased and deployed various technologies. In this rapid response, there has been no or little consideration of the accessibility of those technologies. This workshop will focus on the effects of the shift to remote teaching on digital accessibility under the current emergency phase as well as its effects on the field beyond the contemporary period.

Session Outcomes:
- To engage faculty in making digital learning materials accessible.
- To share information about strategies to include digital accessibility in remote/online teaching/learning
- To develop an elevator pitch (30s- 1min) for elevating digital accessibility to leadership agenda
