Event Overview
Over the last two years faculty and students at Yale have been exploring the use of 3D, virtual reality and augmented reality technologies under the Blended Reality applied research program. In this webinar we will share information about the work, with a particular focus on VR. How to get started, what technologies work, what the pitfalls are and the possibilities we are seeing for use in teaching, learning and student projects.
Learning Objectives\
- Understand specific hardware and software technologies used to deliver VR experiences
- Develop a perspective on challenges and opportunities for creating VR content
- Explore specific examples of use of VR in the classroom and for student projects
