Event Overview
Join other thought partners to discuss current uses, challenges, and designs for Hybrid Classrooms.
In the initial session, we will spend time getting to know each other’s experiences since 2020 with hybrid classrooms; exploring what we mean by hybrid, what technologies are involved, and what standards have been established. We will also identify the issues & challenges that are currently being tackled in our various settings related to hybrid classrooms. In between sessions, we'll gather information to help answer the questions or challenges and reconvene for a second session to discuss what has been learned. An optional third session may be organized if needed.
Learning Outcomes
Participants Will:
- Summarize various types of hybrid learning and various technologies to support it.
- Articulate the pros and cons of various approaches to hybrid teaching.
Note: These sessions will not be recorded. In order to be able to prioritize group connection and experience, participants will have the option to turn cameras and microphones on during the sessions.
