Event Overview
Sick of thinking about what you can no longer do? Come learn what new things can be possible with Robotic Process Automation (RPA). During a period of uncertainty and limitations, RPA offers higher ed institutions an easy to adopt a strategy with new possibilities and enhanced capability by combining many existing tools in an inexpensive package with an accessible interface.

In January 2020, Nichols College started an automation journey, and to-date have trained nearly 20 students in RPA. Students created an average of 5+ automations each; many of which provided proof of concepts for external companies and Nichols College departments. Beyond being useful, we have learned the true power of RPA is in the opportunity to innovate! 

If you are an educator, IT professional, researcher, or administrator interested in learning a new way to innovate, this session is would be useful to you.

Learning Objectives
Participants in this session will:
 - Learn what RPA is through a demonstration of the automation tool and exploring simple use cases.
 - Understand what use cases exist in higher education and how that might support their institution.
