Event Overview

The 2015 Instructional Design Symposium will utilize a Teach/Meet format for this year’s event.

We will encourage participants to bring their laptops/tablets and be prepared to share good practice, practical innovations, and personal insights in instructional design and educational technology. Participants will be asked to share or demonstrate good practice and/or resources they've utilized over the past year, or discuss a product that enhances their instructional design process, depending on the topic at hand.

Facilitators will guide conversations at designated tables on some of the following items:
- Project, Process, & Change Management
- Client/Faculty Consultation and Analysis Phase
- Methodologies and Approaches
- Design Approaches & Best Practices
- Tool Selection and Implementation
- Policy, Administrative Awareness/Support

Participants will rotate between table topics leading up to lunch. In the afternoon, table facilitators will present their discussion summaries, with the assistance of any volunteers from those discussions.
