Event Overview

Mobile devices (Tablets, Smartphones, Hand-helds) have taken our campuses by storm. They have gone from being owned by the luckiest of students to being owned by the majority of faculty, staff, and a good portion of students owning multiple mobile devices.

This program takes a look through different aspects of mobile devices. Presenters will come from both IT as well as academic backgrounds. They will touch upon:
• How to accurately determine your organizations mobile device needs and goals
• What is IT doing to support these devices?
• Exciting new ways to use these devices in both classrooms comprised of the traditional students and those occupied by life-long learners.
• The program will discuss how mobile devices will determine IT’s next steps to integrate and support these devices.
