Event Overview
Do you wonder what innovative tools, platforms, and spaces might help bring multi-media in teaching to the next level?
Educators and Faculty no longer question if video and multimedia belong in our pedagogy but understand that incorporating video, audio, and multimedia tools into their lesson plans and outcomes is essential to the process of learning!

That said, there are many questions to explore:
 - Has it gotten easier to create and support multimedia spaces and assignments?
 - How can video and multimedia assignments support universal design and flexible assignments?
 - Are there still limitations on publishing and licensing requirements?
 - Is the LMS the core platform to provide video now?
 - What are some challenges for teams supporting multimedia tools and products?
 - What are some examples of excellent multimedia assignments that were manageable for both faculty and students?
 - What about AI?
 - Will multimedia assignments become the norm to replace text assignments?
 - What video tools are integrating Generative AI?

Join us for these one-hour sessions to explore the teaching environment and how multimedia is changing it. Come prepared to share your school's policies, resources, activities, lessons learned, and/or how you use multimedia to engage and support instructors and students.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will be able to:
 - Discover applications, connections, and software that improve student and faculty access to multimedia.-
 - Think innovatively about department and organization policies and support of students and faculty using multimedia in teaching and learning.
 - Extract practical experiences, use cases, and best practices to assist faculty using multimedia platforms in their teaching and assignments.

Note: These sessions will not be recorded. In order to be able to prioritize group connection and experience, participants will have the option to turn cameras and microphones on during the sessions.
