Event Overview
Are you, or is someone you know, interested in contributing to the development of a thriving professional community? If so, NERCOMP is interested in hearing from you! NERCOMP workshops (SIGs) and conferences offer high-quality, low-cost professional development opportunities geared to meet the needs of you and your staff. We bring together audiences and experts to discuss the use and management of computers, networks, telecommunications, and information technology in libraries, education, academic research, and administration. NERCOMP participants meet colleagues, network, and take away new ideas to consider and apply. On May 7th, NERCOMP is sponsoring a gathering of people who are interested in organizing workshops for 2013-2014. We expect to host 60 professional development workshops (a.k.a SIGs) between September 2013 and July 2014. You're invited to get involved.
What happens at the meeting?
The rubber hits the road at the meeting. All the received proposals are discussed and vetted, and the best ones are tentatively scheduled.
We welcome new-comers. Even if you have never developed a workshop before, you're encouraged to get involved.

Registration Cancellation Policy:
