Event Overview
Great learning happens when students actively engage with ideas—not just listen to them. This interactive session explores how discussion structures and Visible Thinking Routines can transform classroom conversations into meaningful opportunities for collaboration, reflection, and deeper understanding. Grounded in a constructivist approach to teaching and learning, participants will experience practical strategies they can immediately implement to foster richer dialogue, strengthen critical thinking, and make student learning more visible.

Session Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
 - Apply discussion structures and Visible Thinking Routines that promote active participation, collaboration, and deeper learning.
 - Design learning experiences that encourage students to articulate their thinking, build on others' ideas, and engage in meaningful academic discourse.a
 - Identify practical resources and implementation strategies to confidently integrate these approaches into a variety of teaching contexts.
