The registration fee covers hands on training. Breaks and meals are not included, but there is a cafeteria on site where items can be purchased.

Event Overview
This two-day hands-on course will introduce students to all facets of recording and editing a well lit, well composed, and well framed video interview, a core element of commercial productions, documentaries, and news programs. Participants will learn how to select contributors, build key talking points, and establish a rapport with talent to record usable sound bites. Participants will visit multiple locations, practice setting up portable lighting and audio, and direct and record video interviews. In post, participants will practice a workflow to mark and edit sound bites and cutaway shots.
