Event Overview
Digital Signage is a tricky communication medium. It is not in the Top 5 or 10 most critical services on the campus, it holds readers attention for only a few seconds, and it is difficult to measure in terms of Return on Investment. So why do we think we should start doing digital signage?
Hear from UNH’s digital signage coordinator and two thought leaders in the field of digital signage - representing dozens of campus installations - discuss what it takes to get started and sustain a successful implementation that looks sharp and provides rich information to your community easily.

We will discuss:
- How and why Universities get started
- Information on how to identify stakeholders
- Content Management
- Getting User buy-in (around campus)
- Some campus plans for support
- What's up and coming for new technology
- Popular systems and considerations before you buy

Session Outcomes:
- How to start up, manage and create a cohesive, professional system.
- Insight in creating different local control schemes that provide a balance between having control of the local display resource while still contributing to and receiving value from the collection of creators.
- Methods to scale deployment and support from two industry leaders.
- How to engage students without running afoul of appropriate content guidelines.
