What role would you like to play in organizing this workshop? I’m interested in organizing a workshop on this topic.

Intended Audience: ID’s, Faculty, administrator

Proposal:

Mini-workshop through Zoom where the first 25 minutes are detailing the Community of Inquiry Framework and Social Presence Theory, the main factors (effective practices) in designing and facilitating an instructor engaged online course, and the uses of instructor-generated videos for connectedness.
15-20 Breakout groups for brainstorming and generating creative ideas for videos and ways to further engage the students.
20 minutes on whiteboarding consensus and new ideas on integrating tech into this current state of education.
