Library, Information and Technology Services (LITS) at Mount Holyoke College (MHC) seeks a diverse pool of applicants for the full-time position of Digital Applications Archivist. Reporting to the Head of Archives and Special Collections (ASC), this position offers the opportunity to join a department that is committed to developing user-centered and transformative approaches to archival work.
The Digital Applications Archivist supports the operations and application management related to the discovery, access, and preservation of archival materials and other digital collections at MHC. Collaborates closely with other LITS departments and campus partners to select, implement, assess, and manage digital repository systems, services, software, and applications that support the work of ASC and other digital collections at the College. Operations include migration, preservation, stewardship, and transfer of data, and digital archives systems management.
