Job Description
​​Under the direction of the Associate Director of Distributed Computing, the Endpoint Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the College's endpoint infrastructure for faculty, staff, and learning spaces. This role combines strategic engineering with hands-on technical expertise to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance of all endpoint devices across Windows and macOS environments. The position plays a critical role in modernizing endpoint management processes, implementing automation frameworks, and maintaining the security posture of Trinity College's diverse computing environment. ​

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and manage Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Intune, and Jamf Pro solutions for application distribution, configuration management, asset management, and OS deployment
• Architect and engineer deployment workflows using JAMF and Microsoft Autopilot following least privilege security models
• Lead the evolution of endpoint management from traditional imaging to cloud-native provisioning solutions and enable rapid user onboarding
• Build self-service capabilities that empower users while maintaining security standards
• Design, test, and implement configuration, compliance, and conditional access policies within Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
• Collaborate with the CISO to maintain security compliance on all endpoints according to security best practices
• Monitor and optimize endpoint performance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
• Managed specialized endpoint systems, including public printing, virtual desktops, and iOS devices in classrooms
• Perform other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
