Improve the quality of teaching and enhance learning through effective use of instructional technology. Support faculty and students in the use of instructional technology applications and online tools by resolving Academic Technology help tickets, providing face to face and online training opportunities, creating and posting instructional technology learning materials, maintaining the Academic Technology website, and managing the iPad program. Provide both technical and administrative support for various academic software and online applications, with a particular emphasis on the Canvas LMS and associated applications. Room for career advancement.
Master’s degree or teaching experience and coursework in instructional technology, instructional design or related field. Previous experience in higher education is preferred.
Must be able to test new software and train others in the use of new software and instructional technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot issues pertaining to the use of technology.
