The University of Maine System invites you to join us as a Software Support Analyst, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring optimal operation and reliability of enterprise systems across our campuses. Systems supported may include Goggle Workspace, Microsoft 365, Identity Management, and other system-wide service offerings. You will have the option of remote work or working on any of the UMS campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, and customize enterprise-level applications and software systems.
Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and functional experts to ensure smooth operation.
Configure and design customization to software systems and develop integrations.
Analyze and address issues with system interfaces and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors.
Provide end-user training and support for enterprise-level applications.
Participate in planning, testing, and deployment of software updates and upgrades.
Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
Write and maintain technical and functional documentation.
Salary: The normal hiring range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000, commensurate with training, education, and experience. For current UMS employees, the salary will also take into consideration existing pay for transfer or promotion.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
Three years of recent experience supporting software in an enterprise and/or higher education environment.
Preferred:
Proficiency in query languages such as SQL.
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Javascript, or other similar languages.
