Karen Ethier

Karen Ethier serves as the Director of Support Services for Information Technology AND Search Advocacy Coordinator at Roger Williams University. Karen has served as an equity advisor on search committees at all levels of RWU and has taught unconscious bias and/or equitable search practices to
students, faculty, staff, and external professional organizations. Last year, Karen developed a training program to equip University faculty and staff to serve as advisors to search committees, with an eye towards equity. She trained the first and second cohorts of that program in Spring 2022, with a third
planned for Winter 2023.
