Speaker: Carol Thomas

Carol Thomas serves as Vice President for Information Technology at New England College in Henniker, NH.  She has responsibility for aligning the technology and its implementation with the College’s strategic plan and all aspects of the College’s technology environment, made challenging by the College’s rural location and resource requirements. She and her staff collaborate with other College divisions to ensure alignment in service delivery to all College constituents. She has served as a technology leadership and management consultant, a CRM planner and implementer, and as the technology leader at Columbus State Community College in Columbus, OH, and Middlesex Community College in Lowell, MA. She began her higher education career in the SUNY system and spent several years in information systems at Dartmouth College.  Carol is a published author, frequent presenter, and spent over 20 years in the physical and virtual classroom preparing the next generation of technologists. Carol has achieved a reputation as a thoughtful manager, innovative leader, and committed educator. She is in the final stages of completing her EdD in Higher Education Leadership and holds a Master of Arts in Urban Affairs and Policy Analysis from New School University in New York, NY and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University College at Oneonta in Oneonta, NY.
