Beth Clark
As the Managing Director of Academic and Administrative Technology Services (AATS) at Harvard Business School (HBS), Beth provides leadership and direction for her department, as well as educational and administrative technology initiatives at HBS. Prior to HBS, she served as Director of the Instructional Design and eTeaching Services (IDeS) organization at Boston College (BC), where she grew IDeS from its inception to a robust organization serving the wide variety of BC's instructional technology needs. In addition to her past 17 years of experience in higher ed IT, she also spent time as a web development consultant for a variety of non-profit organizations around the Northeast. Active in the instructional and information technology professional development communities, Beth's past involvements have included co-coordinating the Boston-area EdTech group, serving on the Program Committee for and chairing the Northeast Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP) Annual Conference, and serving on the NERCOMP Board of Trustees. She also has a longstanding interest in the intersections between gender, technology, and leadership, which drove both doctoral research on organizational factors that impact women’s participation in the CIO role, and her continued engagement in a variety of professional communities for women in technology.

Robin Robinson
Robin is the Director of Education Technology and Interactive Media at Framingham State University. At the university, Robin leads a five person team responsible for implementing strategies for the integration of technology throughout the curriculum. She also directs the development and management of technology services used for learning and instruction as well as interactive media for university communications, dissemination of unrestricted information, and constituent engagement.

Collaboration is part of her make-up as is reflected by her committee work on campus and involvement with Massachusetts Colleges Online (MCO), the NENY Blackboard User Group, IMS Global Learning Consortium and NERCOMP. She has served as a member of the NERCOMP Conference Planning Committee, leads the Blackboard User Group session with colleague Andrea Milligan and has presented at National and Regional conferences on Collaboration beyond the Brick Walls, Mobile Technology, and Redesigning your .EDU.

Before beginning her career in Higher Ed, Robin was a member of the Information Technology team for Computerworld Magazine and held related positions in the publishing industry. Robin earned her Master’s in Professional and Technical Writing from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree from UMass, Amherst. Robin is a resident of Hopkinton, MA where she lives with her husband.

In her free time, Robin teaches Professional Development online courses in Assistive Technology, the Flipped Classroom and the Digital Child. These interactions afford her the opportunity to learn from K-12 teachers who are preparing the students who will attend our institutions in the near future.

As a new member of the board, she looks forward to leveraging her experience and creating more opportunities to learn from her colleagues.

Jennifer Servedio (Jen)
My IT career spans more than 20 years, 17 of which are in higher education at Colgate University.  I am currently the Director of Infrastructure and Operations where I oversee several teams that provide support for Infrastructure, High Performance and Research Computing, Service Desk, A/V Event Support, Hardware Repair, Computer Installations, and Classroom support.

My husband, Frank, and I live in Hamilton, NY.  Our son, Matthew, is a veteran and is currently living in Colorado Springs.  In my spare time I enjoy serving my community as a member of the Hamilton Lions Club and as a Trustee for the Village of Hamilton.  I am also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Information Management in the Executive Program through Syracuse University’s iSchool.

Karen Warren
Karen is Director of User and Technical Services at Wesleyan University. Karen has oversight for both the front end user support operations including Desktop Support and Student Helpdesk and the back end technical support team comprised of network administration, data center, and system administrators. Bridging the divide between these mutually dependent, but often at odds groups is challenging and always interesting. Karen and her team provide support for all other IT operations in the University and provide strategic input regarding systems and infrastructure. Wesleyan's adoption of ITSM began when Karen introduced ServiceNow in 2013. Wesleyan has undergone major infrastructure upgrades including the core network and campus wireless environment in the last 5 years.

Since joining Wesleyan, Karen has been an active member in NERCOMP. She has participated or coordinated several Professional Development workshops, served as track chair, vice chair and, most recently, chair of the NERCOMP annual conference (2016). Karen has been serving on the NERCOMP Board since 2013 and worked on the team that developed its online workshop program.

Prior to coming to Wesleyan, Karen spent 15 years at the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, CT where she was IT Director for 10 of those years.

In 2014, Karen initiated Wesleyan's membership in National Center for Women in Information Technology Academic Alliance program to help Wesleyan encourage young women in the field of technology, an issue about which she is quite passionate.
