Event Overview
Having worked in academia as a systems administrator, faculty member, and faculty developer, Dr. Burgiel has spent decades striving for work-life balance.  This three-session round-table discussion will be modeled on the POD Network’s You Are Not Alone special sessions and informed by Emily and Amelia Nagoski’s Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle.  Bring your questions and concerns; together we’ll search for solutions.

Learning Outcomes
Participants Will:
 - Identify common imbalances
 - Discuss structural and societal issues which lead to imbalance
 - Explore strategies for approaching balance

Note: These sessions will not be recorded. In order to be able to prioritize group connection and experience; participants will have the option to turn cameras and microphones on during the sessions.
